Name that rash | | Ben has developed a nasty little rash between two of his toes that I can't figure out. It started last week and just looked a little irritated, so I figured some sand had gotten stuck between his toes and caused some abrasion since we've been liviing in the sandbox. Then on Sunday I realized that there were little blisters in there (sort of like tiny little cyst like zits) I started putting a some some cream (can't remember the name) on it that we got from ben's last rash just to see if I could knock it out. We have been to the doctor EVERY WEEK in August (possible broken nose, isane swollen glands, and a swollen shut eye-(bugbite)) So I was waiting a few more days to see if it clears on it's own, but it's not going away and in fact is now spreading to the underside of both toes.
We do go barefoot outside alot, and there is poison ivy out in the woods that occassionally creeps to the edge of the yard, but I'm pretty careful about it and I can't imagine it would get BETWEEN his toes and nowhere else---plus he says it doesn't hurt or itch. Hand foot and mouth disease is going around, but it seems he would have more blisters than that, right?? We haven't been in any public places barefoot that I can think of where he might get athlete's foot. So I'm stumped...any ideas??? |
