Homemade dishwasher soap.

1 cup Borax
1 cup Baking Soda
1/4 cup salt

I mixed it up in a big yogurt container and am trying it right now. Will report back later.

I'd love to hear how it works... I have a hard time finding phosphate free dishwashing detergent in the regular grocer, and it's kind of expensive at the natural foods place.

Sue, that Palmolive Eco was at my Target last time. I think the major roll out is in April, so I hope you can find it!

Aileen, is that dish soap or for the dishwasher? Dish soap is no easy to find around here, it's the darned stuff for the dishwasher I can't seem to find easily.

Dishwasher. Where the standard liquid palmolive dishwasher soap bottle is yellow, the ECO brand is white. Other than that, the packaging is nearly identical.

Okay, it did not rock my world but the only dishwasher soap that rocks my world is Shaklee and expensive.
I think I will continue to make and use this! I found a bit of gritty residue on my glasses but I wonder if I need more Jet Dry...will consult with the DH tonight.
