Fertility treatments scare me a little since watching Jon and Kate. But we should have a forum for it.

Jon and Kate and my sister are BY FAR the exception to the rule.

We don't have an official forum yet, but ask away. I've done just about everything.

How often do multiple births happen? I couldn't imagine being pregnant with more than one baby.

I think the forum is a great idea. It makes sense since most mom sites do have a TTC section. Good idea, Morgan!

Well, I do remember that the last stats are from 2003 and there were almost 190,000 multiple births in the U.S. alone! The older you get the more likely you are to have twins and triplets occur in 1 in 8000 births. I personally would find it fascinating to have twins or triplets and watch them grow up together. Note that I said fascinating, not that I am in anyway going to try to have more children.

It depends on the meds and the way in which conception takes place. In Jon and Kate, they did fairly mild meds, but an insemination. With my sister, she did mild meds too, went home had sex and ended up with triplets. A less then 2% chance of trips. 10- 15% chance of twins.
