About StopMomStop Recalls
Recall Information Published at Stop Mom Stop is for the most part sourced from two government agencies - The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. We do not publish all of the recalls that they know about, nor do we limit ourselves to just those sources. The number of products that get recalled every day can be quite overwhelming, so we slim down the list according to those products that Moms would be most interested in, as Moms are our audience.
Finding Recalls
At the moment, there are two pages that you may find helpful as a starting point. We have a complete listing of our recalls, and a page with pictures of the most recent recalls.
Currently in Beta
The utility that we have developed for publishing recall inforamtion is currently in Beta, which means that the software has not been completely developed and may change at any time for a variety of reasons. We will try to remain as consistent as possible moving forward. Please let us know if you experience any problems. We will certainly try to address them as quickly as possible.
The Future
In the near term future, we will be developing a way for you to publish this information on your own web site or blog. Keep checking back on this page for an announcement. We will also be developing other methods to keep you alerted, including RSS Feeds and E-mail.
