To start things out, let me be clear: We are not going to lose our house if you don't sign up for an eBay account.
Like a lot of families these days, we are not in the best financial situation that we have ever been in. To ease the pain a little bit, we started brainstorming ideas on how to bring in a little bit more money. The eBay affiliate program we recently joined came to mind. We did a little bit of math and decided that setting a goal of 120 sign ups would bring in enough money to pay our mortgage and get us through the rough patch.
eBay is fun and there are plenty of good deals to be had on just about everything you can imagine. We are calling to action all of those people who have heard about eBay but have never tried it out. We are doing so in an attempt to be proactive about our current financial situation and as a side effect we are promoting our new online community, which is coming along quite well.
